Lately, I’ve been feeling like keeping up with AI is exhausting. Every day, there’s a new tool, a new update, a new headline about how AI is going to take all our jobs. And honestly? Most of it isn’t useful.
I don’t believe AI is something to fear, instead it’s something to use intentionally to work smarter and build the future we actually want (with Human Ambition at the forefront).
I don’t need another hype cycle or another flood of AI release notes. What I do need is a simple way to actually put AI to use without spending hours sifting through noise.
And I figured… if I feel this way, I’m probably not the only one.
The Problem: AI Is a Mess to Keep Up With
If you’re not actively glued to AI news, it’s easy to feel like you’re falling behind.
Here’s what’s out there:
❌ Over-the-top hype and fear-mongering (“AI is replacing your job!”)
❌ A nonstop flood of new tool announcements (90% of which you’ll never use)
❌ Philosophical discussions about the future of AI (cool, but not immediately helpful to busy knowledge workers)
What’s not out there? A simple, no-BS way to learn how to actually use AI in your daily work.
So, I decided to make one.
What I’m Building: Idea Kitchen 🍳
It’s called Idea Kitchen, and it’s a new newsletter that’s all about quick, actionable ways to use AI to save time without the fluff.
Each issue will be structured like a recipe:
✅ A simple AI use case (ex: “How to automate your inbox in 5 minutes”)
✅ Clear, step-by-step instructions (so you know exactly what to do)
✅ No jargon, no overwhelm, just results
Basically, I want it to feel like a cookbook for AI. Open it up, follow the steps, and immediately put it to work.
Why I’m Doing This
Even with years of experience in AI (robotics, AI services, product development) I still felt overwhelmed trying to catch up after returning from maternity leave.
I wanted a shortcut, a way to quickly understand what’s actually useful and how to apply it. But I couldn’t find it. So, I’m making it.
And now, I want to share it with you.
