I just tried this with a freebie ebook and the mindmap was a crazy awesome streamlined outline that I could filter through to exactly what I wanted to see!!! π€―
I've been doing a talk-to-text brain dump with ChatGPT to organize my day. I didn't know about the Mindmaps. This is SUCH a great idea. I'll add this to my process
Looking at the Morning Pages example that's provided, I'm left wondering how on earth anyone can write so much in two minutes. It isn't just typing speed, as mine, while not as speedy as in my transcriptionist time, is still over 80 wpm. My attempt at Morning Pages was scant compared to the author's example. Part of me was thinking about how long it has been since I last did them. I was working through The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron then and laboring over them in longhand. Maybe the difference is that I am still drinking my coffee.
Anyway, I found the mind map produced by NotebookLM to be illuminating. I provided the URL to the knowledge base I work on most days. Can I give the AI a dump of my to-do list from Reminders? I use that as a dumping ground for things I need to do/remember, so I'm curious as to what NotebookLM would make of its contents.

Love that example, Lorraine! So helpful for getting to the information that matters. Thanks for sharing β€οΈ

The talk-to-text + Mind Maps would be a great combo! π
Great use. Then have it do an Audio Overview with a particular focus
Yes! The audio feature is great. I have an upcoming recipe on it releasing soon
Fascinating. I tried this today: https://ideakitchen.substack.com/p/ai-recipe-daily-mind-dump-for-mental/

Try it out and let us know how it goes! Also, for your morning pages, use whatever timeframe works best for you.
